On the back of the launch of The Exercise Prescription book available on cancer exercise program ABC covered our story of how Donna Moclare and I (Siobhan O’Toole) have raised funds and are raising awareness to the importance of exercise during treatment.
Donna swam throughout her chemo treatment and even won a gold medal at the winter swimming champs.
I was involved in an exercise trial with Dr Sara Wahlroos and was set a target of 6K steps a day and 3 days of weights a week.
